the problem with meta is corporate governance. Zuck has all the voting power and nobody can stop him from doing his VR thing. It's great that they are profitable. But when Zuck goes to the shareholder meeting and says "I'm gonna use all of the profits on my dream of being a second life moderator", shareholders can only seethe and dilate. There is little hope of actually getting the money out

Now this is what I call a piece of literature. I read mr Smoleny's book last year and it changed my life. I've been making a modest 10% daily by scalping the S&P ever since I picked it up. I recommend this masterpiece to every TA shaman out there.

Boss of the market here.
I hope you've learned your lesson for pumping meme stocks and we won't need a repeat of today.
Behave, retail.

>How the fuck can the FDA just outlaw something without congress making a law?
this is a funny ongoing legal topic
the constitution generally does not allow for laws to be made by bureaucrats, only elected representatives
the supreme court has decided that it is constitutional for congress to delegate lawmaking power to agencies as long as the agency has a clear mandate (aka they must have a specific topic/task that is being managed)
EXCEPT recently a court ruled that the SEC's internal trials are illegal (securities violators are often tried by internal SEC guys instead of a real court of law)
this can be a sign that the new supreme court is about to challenge the previous decision, and take away the power of random bureaucrats to write rules about climate disclosure in quarterly reports and other random bullshit

What? There's nothing illegal about making a crazy bet. He's only in trouble if he posts an explicit confession like "I am buying SIGA calls to cause a gamma squeeze hope i dont go to jail lol".
You know how Bill Hwang is currently being sued by the SEC for market manipulation because he bought chinkshit, made it go up, then upped the leverage and bought even more and so on? They haven't presented any messages where he confesses that his intent is buying is to move the price (because that probably was not his intent), and they're gonna lose that case because buying alone is not a crime
