Not him, but China's entirely dependent on the US to get raw materials to China and exported goods out of China. Without the Navy there to enforce open seas doctrine, China will be hemmed in by naval powers it can't fight. My emotions have nothing to do with it. China made it illegal to have kids 30 years ago, so they're running out of people younger than 30 today (pic related.) I have little doubt that poor countries will some day be less poor, but I have very much doubt that "some day" means "this century." China was in terminal decline before Americans realized they can shut down Chinese sea access. In the coming years, China will be fortunate if it is still one country.
