The situation is unfixable, it's not a matter of mindset or whatever.
The current state of society is the result of decisions taken decades ago, the dead governs the living.

Boomers did very poor choices for the future generations, they keep saying millenials are entitled but it's more a projection than anything because in reality millenials expect very little from the future and have a grim outlook on it while ironically boomers remain candid and were flooded with opportunities.

I had the discussion yesterday with my parents on how demographic change and debt are slowly turning the country into a shithole and expected conflicts and violence to result in the coming years.

They got angry at me for stating the facts and pretty much said to me to look away, accept this decay and live my own life. This was so pathetic I was out of word, I only felt disgust and a bit of pain thinking about my great grandfathers who literally bled and died in trenches for us.
I'm not sure what I will do after college but seriously thinking about leaving the country and let them in the mess the created.

Companies will just use ETH or stablecoin instead of buying stupid hypervolatile shitcoins which purpose is to be spent on only one thing.
Imagine if you had to pay in wallmartcoin, then in carrefourcoin then in butcherdollar everytime you go buy some shit, it would be completely retarded, the purpose of a currency is that it's widely accepted everywhere, a currency that can only buy one service is idiotic (unless it's part of some scheme to psychologically manipulate the user by making him spend more than he should, like coins in F2P games).

Besides in the future all dapps will have to work in synergy just like the existing software, subway tokens like LINK or RLC are an absolute hindrance to that and will progressively be scrapped, you will be able to use them but so will you be able to use stablecoins (guess which one is more convenient for a business).
The entire purpose of these things was to make you believe you got something in return for handling them your ETH (which actually have an economic reason to exist = incentive the security of the network).
