What is a broker(is that a platform like Robinhood, eTorro etc.). Is there one that has no bottom limit for investment(Thinking about investing 30$ into doge tonight). What kind of cards do they accept for payment. How do you even check the price of stocks or see their real value? Can any anon direct me to a tutorial for this shit? i dont have a clue what shorting or squeezing or any of that stock "slang" is

Hi! I don't know the first thing about stocks and trading, but I need cash and figure I'll try my hand in the market. I'm young and want to start off with small investments, >$1k for now as I don't have much cash. What are some trustworthy sites I can use to trade stock and make money off the markets?

Also what is your approach to trading and investing? I'm not trying to make it big like some fool, but if I can make $5k trading that'd be sick!
