Trocador. They've just launched an eepsite so you can use that if you need absolute anonymity.

>There are some benefits to it being pseudoanonymous. For one, it's much easier to verify the supply which imo is a more important property. Just need to add up all the utxo amounts.

This doesn't preclude the possibility of inflation bugs. BTC has already had 2, the first one required a chain rollback.

>It's also possible to verify the supply in monero with proofs but that's way more abstract and who knows if there are any other inflation bugs (there was one in the inception).

If the math and implementation are sound, then its just a matter of running the code.

>Honestly the price could be so low because of someone anonymously exploiting an inflation bug and nobody would know.

You can't anonymously exploit an inflation bug, an inflated supply causes real-world effects that are eventually felt.

>how more private is mining monero compared to localmonero for example?

Well, mining is THEE most private way of acquiring Monero since you can do it without anybody else knowing.

But buying it thru non-KYC hubs is much more practical.

Wait, I don't follow.....why is there a need for a site if the entire thing would just be a wallet add-on? What external dependencies could there be?

>I wonder if btc whales are going to swap their bags once the fork and swaps are live.

Not enough liquidity to do so at scale yet. But it would be a good idea to keep an eye on whale wallet activity in future.

As confidence in BTC begins to erode beyond the darknet we can expect to see some intredasting shit.

You're better off asking highly technical questions in the Matrix rooms where all the devs hang out.
