This is pretty much me, except I have a new car that I'm in the middle of paying off, drink often, and can't live without a cell phone, as nice as it does sound. Although I can probably get away with using my work phone and would consider it.

Some things I do:
>check the price of oil and petrol every few days, but more at fuel up time once when it seems to be dipping
>rotate online savings account funds into US Treasury Bills via Treasury Direct to increase interest earned (recently beating bank rates) and protect it from state income tax
>don't pay for city permit parking, get good at finding free spots
>pay for a good high speed internet connection to cover all entertainment wishes, never pay for cable (insane people still do this)
>load up on basic food stuffs at Aldi every now and then; spices, baking supplies, staples, etc
>only use top tier rewards credit cards, never, ever carry a balance
>run Android burner phone ad apps to make about $10-$15 a month in pure passive income
>own 2-3 weeks worth of underwear and shirts so as to minimize laundry doing needs
>get hair cut really short and only get it cut 4-5 times a year for special occasions (cutting it yourself is ideal)
>run heat and ac only when absolutely needed (below 32f, above 80f), dress warm, have warm sheets
>get worn out dress/work shoes fixed for a few bucks instead of buying a new pair
