Remember just a year ago and look at how fast and big we grew compared to back then.
I remember baking breads once every 2 days, sometimes we didn't even reach 100 posts before it got archived.

Prioritize silver over gold atm. Raio between the two metals is high. The real ratio is bellow 30silv for 1 gold. This means you are 'buying' more gold for every x ounces of silver you buy right now. Have both to hedge. I cannot give you a real number as there is probably no right answer.
I am approx 44:1 (silver to gold) ounces and 38:75 (s:g) in terms of dollars invested. If I had to do it again (I was not aware of the ratio when I started buying) I would do more 100:1 ounces and ride it out. If the ratio ever kicks back up into to 120's ill be dumping a few of my gold for silver.

The rest of the responses are pretty solid.

For the short term ya, silver-dime-mother-daughter-blowjobs for the smart ones.
Long term it is value protection or even leveraging an overvalue in one asset into an undervalued asset, then vice versa sometime later to exponentially grow value.
An example would be hyper-valued gold into post-bubble real-estate, then back to gold again when the reverse happens. you gust grew your value by flipping around consciously.

Just started my PM adventures last week. Waiting on 1oz gold and 50oz to arrive. Already have some 1/2oz silver, 1g gold, as well as some junk copper lying around to be home smelted.

What should my stratagy be? I have 24k in the bank untied to any markets. The plan was to buy a home once the Canadian housing market drops through the floor. Note I have not debts, same with my woman.

My gut is split between getting in more now and waiting out for the next dip to buy-in more (silver mainly).
