If a law change while we were around now we would be able to recognize it and therefore study it until we found, theoretically, the reason it changed.
I'm personally open to any and all outcomes or forms of order even if there are no forms of order, I would be ok accepting that too. There's no reason to assume that natural laws are not subject to changes becoming the emergent property we would again call natural laws. I worship the second law of thermodynamics as the master of the universe, but I could be wrong. And I'm ok with being wrong
