Different coins have different premiums. Maples, Eagles and Britannias for example are "generic" and usually have almost no premium to them. It's a good idea to buy them if you stack silver just for income/financial security when Jewish Paper Money collapses.

If you want to buy coins that can have a potential collection value in the future, you buy the "good shit" like Chinese Pandas or Queen's Beasts. Government-Issued Collector coins can be worth more than double it's original price.

Look at this motherfucker right here. This is a 2oz Silver Coin. Generally speaking it should be worth about £30, that's the price of 2 ounces of silver. But this one in mint condition is worth about £80 right now. And it's gonna be more and more expensive each year. They're no longer produced, and it's a part of 10-coin collection called "The Queen's Beasts".

Coin's value depends on great many factors, not just how shiny on how heavy it is.
