MMT stipulates that the government doesnt need to manipulate interest rates to control money supply, it doesnt need fiscal stimulus, it doesnt even need to tax.
It stipulates that the government should simply spend new money into existence for all the programs it needs.
This would allow them to do medicare for all, reparations, and the green new deal.
If you look at the current money supply its actually only something like 100k per US citizen.
How long do you think you could finance reparations, a green new deal, and medicare for all before surpassing 100k per citizen?
Maybe 2 years if we are lucky.
So within 2 years they will have doubled the money supply, conservatively!
