The first couple of years were tough but once word spreads amongst other shops that you exist, work tends to come your way and then you end up settling into what other people didnt wanna do for a while. There were these little forgings that were somewhat intricate, it was literally 3 bores and some features, i bought an adjustable tri spindle and spent days aligning them on test stock until inwas able to do all 3 holes in the part in one pass. Ended up being twice as fast as before so i made tons of them, probably too many because i haven't gotten that contract in maybe a decade. Dont even know where the trindrill is and that company that made it went bankrupt in 2019, there is a company called suburban tooling that was my next contact to make a fixture kike that. It was a tool holder that attached to the spindle head on the outside as well as the inner taper, and it had a central ellipctic gear attached to a gear train that had 3 spindles that were pretty close to each other. Specially designed so that it could accept these little er collets on each spindle. An exceptional little device that was well worth the money. Stuff like that, that can shave off time from operations is gold and silver in the cnc world. >>57144972
