I remember discussing years ago with my guitar teacher about this.

The Gibson 335 was released with a price tag of 335 $. At the moment of our discussion, it was over 3000 $. He was rambling how American brands were too expensive and the only things in the 300 $ range were shitty Chinese knockoffs.

Out of curiosity I looked for an inflation calculator online and realized that the shitty Chinese guitars of the 300 $ range would've been about 40 $ in 1958. The bottom of the barrel Chinese 100 $ guitars would've been about 12 $.

The original Gibson 335 was more expensive, but barely.

That's when I realized: inflation was fucking people over. People are nowadays poorer than they were 60-70 years ago, it's just that chink shit and food are so cheap to manufacture that it can easily be covered. Meanwhile wages keep going down.

But what will happen when production can no longer hide the truth?

Thanks for reading my blog.

How in the world are you supposed to do your DD then? I always thought a company's balance sheet was one of the prime factors people use to determine whether or not they should purchase a stock or not. Or is that how it was in boomer times? Should I just look at what a company does and try to infer whether I believe the stock will go up or down?

So there's really no way to make an informed decision about stocks right now? I would honestly prefer to learn how to make an educated decision regarding a stock vs throwing money at something and hope it moons

Here's a start.
> get familiar with a trading API
> write your own custom service
> set thresholds for transactions that create your model
> learn and understand the many forms of intramarket inefficiencies, learn to detect them, determine your peak window and execute the series of transactions
> your math is only as good as you, you'll probably fail
> learn c. Don't fuck with other languages and don't dare do this on anything but a solid Debian box. Keep it simple. Pointers are fucking easy, nigger.
> test test and test some more. You can always mock up fakery and test your algorithms to fail safe and not otherwise.
> some meth. Not too much. Not too little either.
