Hi biz, I had an incident yesterday at my local CVS pharmacy and it's been sticking in my mind, I'd like to know who you think is in the wrong. I left around 5 PM to purchase some formula for my son, and when I got there I thought I would buy myself a bottle of tasty Borden dutch chocolate milk. I felt my stomach rumbling a bit and tried to discreetly pass gas in the milk section. Well, it turned out to be a bit more than that and I expelled a fair amount of liquid shit. This was a bit embarrassing but I thought, oh well, it happens to everyone, shouldn't be any real trouble. A couple of minutes later, though, a tall man in a reflective safety vest expressed visible disgust with my presence and actually swore at me. A woman in line with her daughter backed away from me and were whispering amongst themselves, clearly about me. And if that wasn't enough, the cashier, an actual CVS employee, made a big show of coughing into his hand and avoiding eye contact with me! Obviously I spoke with his manager, which could be its own story, but the point is, I couldn't believe the vitriol I received for a simple accident that could have happened to anyone! Maybe I just needed to vent, but this experience really left me questioning whether there are any courteous people left in the world.
