I'd like to see an adjusted table or a more granular breakdown. If I lose in the market for 9 years but then one year I make a 2000% gain then technically you could say the Market beat me "90% of the time" even though I only needed one win.
And if I run a hedge that includes defensive positions like bonds...then yes the market would beat me *during a bull run* like we've had for the last 20 years.
