Suppose for a moment that the devs actually manage to create a working product and get it running. Then people would be enabled to store huge amounts of data, anonymously and undeletable on the internet. Once something is uploaded and paid for no individual, organization or government will be able to remove or regulate it. Even the devs themselves will be then completely powerless to control their own creation.

This will obviously become a very attractive deal for anyone who wants to upload content that might be considered improper or even illegal on the regular web. I expect it to become a decentralized version of pirate bay where anyone will be able to upload books, games, movies, music, pictures, etc. and ignore all copyright while doing so. The same also holds true for downloads. This will of course also include a lot of malware, spam, stolen credit card data, instructions on how to 3D print a gun, instructions on how to make drugs, politically incorrect history, opinions normies consider offensive, rape, gore, snuff, CP and other illegal porn.

I thus expect Holo to become big even if they fail to attract any partnerships. I am also pretty sure that the devs have no idea what they are creating.
