It has CherryMX switches. Reds or Browns I think. I wanted the loudest high end switches I could get but I had to take whatever they had available. I was a little surprised how much of a back order some of the CherryMX switches were

I wanted something full size vintage throwback IBM style that was like the keyboards I used when I first learned how to computer back in the dark ages.
I love these things. The sound of mechanical keyboard is absolutely comfy. I love the look and feel of it. and its heavy too.
