Bitcoin BTC IS the fork, not BSV.
BSV uses the original Bitcoin protocol
BTC forked when it added Segwit. Segwit IS a fork of the original Bitcoin.

Hand Waving isn't proof.

Is lightning a third party ? Is mastercard a third party ?
Segwit strips the signature and only a segwit compliant miner can add it back.
That means we have to "TRUST" them. Bitcoin is supposed to be trustless.
