You retain all your current memories but you DON'T retain any memories your 2009 self knew. So let's say you were taking Calculus 2 in 2009. Now you're thrown into that same body/time and you're stuck trynna do that with your current knowledge.

Same goes for if you were working some job, you're thrown exactly into that same situation with no "current" memories. Only the memories of you right now before the time travel.

I've been saying this forever. It's a place you visit for a couple weeks. Anyone that actually wants to live there is a brainwashed fool/weeb.

People work 14 hours a day, 6-7 days a week. They have the highest suicide rate. People live in little 500sqft apartments. Their birthrates are falling off of a cliff. The men and women barely even talk, or fuck anymore. They actually have a lot of restrictions, regulations and laws. You still need to wear masks and be vaxxed almost everywhere you go.

People think it's a paradise because it's clean. But, that's about it. The truth is, it's a dystopian hellhole covered in neon lights.
