>Anyone on here use sterling flatware?
Here. I use a couple of .950 forks + big and dessert spoons from the pre-revolutionary era. I feel like a king eating my microwaved cup noodles with 3+oz silverware. At first you aren't used to your tableware being so heavy. I don't use silver knives as they only are good to spread butter/jam or to eat fishes.

Also caution warning :
be careful when you eat hot soup or tea and you left your spoon in the bowl/cup without holding it. Silver being the best conductor of heat, the tip of the handle and the spoon's bowl will be as hot as the liquid itself. I burned my fingers and tongue a few times the first month, being used to stainless steel spoons.

Ebay is awful to buy silver bullion, too much demand and not enough offer allow absurd premiums to rule over the platform. That's why you don't find shit below $27/oz. But it's great if you are a seller.

On the other hand, ebay is great to purchase scrap silver if you are patient and learn to sniff the good deals. My average for the past 5 months is around $13/oz (not counting antique silver, for which i usually spend around spot, but i don't plan to melt it). Scrapfren is in single digit territory.
If you live in the US then you can do like him : send it all to a refinery to be melted down into bars the size of your liking, and you already x2'd your money.

I promised few pics a while ago, but never delivered.
It's not all my pre-revolutionary silverware, but most of it. Still super shiny even after 300 years.
