Re-posting from last night, I got a couple good replies and am hungry for more. I'm a geologist who just got hired as an environmental engineer for a seemingly legit small firm. They are paying $100/hr. They are going to send me a check or payment on my existing credit card to get my office set up. Am I getting check scammed like the anon from last week? Can they scam my bank account by me giving them my direct deposit details? What about giving them my SS# and shit when it comes time for the W2/1099?
