I usually pay 6.50€ per 5F semeuse on ebay. I love how stable their price is, no matter the spot price, no matter the premiums, no matter if it's 2020 or 2023, you can snipe them for 6.50€ if you are patient enough. And since they went out of circulation so fast due to ppl hoarding them instead of using them, they always are in excellent condition, unlike US junk.

Big issue tho is how low the availible volume is. Back in 2019-20, the average lot of semeuse was x100 or x150 coins. Now it's x10, or even x5-8. Nobody is selling big quantities anymore, only tiny lots where you get fucked by shipping fees. But still, that's only 20.21€ per oz of fine silver in beautiful constitutional coins, and the 10g fine silver content per coin is very convenient for quick maths too. To think burgers pay +100% spot for their bad condition's half dollars when we pay 10% below spot for ours... feels bad for the burgerfrens.

Pic rel coins were so new they were still in their Banque de France rolls just before i purchased them. Too bad the boomie i bought them from cracked the rolls open to take pics for the ebay thumbnail.. Pretty sure they could have commanded a comfy premium while still sealed. What a tardo.

>no junk so far
Oh ok i thought you were one of the two other frogs who both stack semeuses.
You should give them a try, they ring wonderfully and are the cheapest junk worldwide due to french boomoid ignorance (you can find them for below spot on ebay), while being of decently high purity (.835) and easy to calculate with (contain 10gr fine silver each).
>and it probably won't be until mid-summer that I get most of the funds.
Timing might be tight fren. Our overlord's words, not mine :

I noticed french junk is finally on the rise. Considering i saw few anons talking about it lately, i wouldn't be surprised if some of it is leaving the territory to be sold in the US/rest of Europe.

I'd love to profit from the arbitrage since i need some extra cash to buy scrap. Is there anyone interdasted to try to figure out a solution?
I'm willing to sell a K of them for 7.70€/ea. That's 24€/oz .999 equivalent for highly recognizable constitutional in great condition. So basically spot +1€ per oz.

Do we frogs have the best deals when it comes to junk silber?
5F semeuses are .835 (contains 10gr of fine silver each) and still are widely availible for 20€/oz, so 3€ below spot.
Wonder if it would be worth it to ship them en masse to the US (alongside some RMs) if i had a partner in crime..
