If something is Turing complete you can write any program you want on it.

Is XRP capable of this? If so, smart contracts could be written on it and it has faster throughput/lower fees than Ethereum.

And all that is needed is the reset and deflationary collapse of all asset prices. Everything is inflationary and even people with good jobs can barely keep their heads above water. Clearly XRP is part of this reset and with its connections to gold and silver, you could have a reset where we go back to what prices were in 1913, and then you have made it with your 10k stack of XRP at a price of 2$.

A lot of people are going to buy XRP. They're going to see a coin rocketing it's way back up, and will want to turn their .25 > .30 > .50 etc coin into $3.50+. It's done it before, and can do it again. Put your egos aside and buy some goddamn XRP before the price goes any higher.

Only retards do not have at least some XRP.
Financial institutions will always win.
XRP will always be the number one coin associated with financial institutions
There's a reason why despite the everyday fud against XRP everywhere, it's still the number three coin.
Just check out the bull run of 2017 see how history is bound to repeat itself.
XRP overtook fucking ETH for the number two spot.
Many people even actually believed it was on its way to dethrone fucking Bitcoin for the number one spot.
But XRP, the token itself, is not needed, you say?
Well it doesn't fucking matter. It didn't matter then, it doesn't matter now.
XRP will always be associated with Ripple and financial institutions.
As proven already, this association alone is more than enough to inevitably pump XRP's price.
The price itself is a bonus factor; dumb money loves low prices and they love owning large quantities of coins.

Is XRP dead? I haven't seen any news about this project in months. Am I an idiot for still holding this as the bullrun is about to begin?

I'm not really a /biz/ guy, but today one of my family members set me up with $100AUD in XRP. They said it has links to the world's return to the gold standard and is going to be the standard used by government to make exchanges in the very near future.

Are they insane? They made some really good points about how Trump has appointed people who work at this company to head the Federal Reserve and how Ripple is purchasing trillions worth of corporate debt.

I literally don't know anything about crypto and I want to know if what I was told is true.

What's the deal with Ripple? They seem to be lobbying the Fed and the Trump admin.
Should I invest, or is it just another scam?
