I believe that the 500k address having 50% of the supply is not a holder, but all the WHL staked as WHLC

Combined there's around 300-400 holders without having checked exactly who holds both WHL and WHLC, but assuming it's around 350~.
Around 20k is on Coinmetro (the only CEX listing the project so far https://www.coingecko.com/en/coins/whaleroom price is a bit wonky since the spread is high and liquidity low, there's no market makers for WHL) hot and cold wallet.
Buying 1000 is buying 0.1% of the project's maximum supply, I'm not surprised it has a price impact.
