If not, I gotta say it's a pretty weird flex sucking "them" off so openly.

Bobody ever said it would be easy or fast. we just said we will wait until $0 or the shorts close.
And actually we all realized the only play left for "they" is to kick the can, print articles, make movies use bots, and shills etc to convince us that it's over. We know HFs are loosing a lot of money daily, and we know that the show of strength is to hide their weakness and fear.

Could be, although I have hard time trusting any news about China. They are pretty cunning.
Still, investing in anything China related on stock market is quite risky. Same goes for some banana republics. Corruption should be taken into account always. I got burned in past because mining company would not get lease renewed for bullshit reasons for example.
