if "the big one" comes it's actually bullish because the fed HAS to pivot and print a gorillion USD
The play for now seems to be steady grind down

So I can't find the article on a quick search. I was hoping the anon who first posted it back then would still be here. That said. I stand by double redundancy at a minimum as a sound best practice, especially when they do NOT explicitly guarantee a response time, only suggest.

>Any landlord that kicks you out for being a couple days late
it's not just that it's the erosion of trust. which could result in higher rents. an easily avoidable fate with some advance preparation. I am assuming of course renting from a small-time human landlord as a big corporate landlord will fuck you over regardless.

>If your Bear Stearns (or Lehman brothers or whatever) money market fund goes to 0 or even trades below 95 cents on the dollar, you don't need to worry about paying rent to your landlord.

Is that your retirement account? Fidelity for example does do FDIC ensured for retirement but FCASH (default cash position in non-retirement accounts) is not FDIC ensured. Maybe TD is different in which case that can be one (of two) locations over which you spread your efund. Quite convenient if so.

My problem with anything related to bonds is, it is one of the most direct levers the gov has to influence the stock market. And it is in their interest right now to fuck over as many investors as possible, as more losses = less gains = less inflation. Me, I'm thinking the 40% bonds, a stabilizer in a deflationary / falling rates environment, are ripe for replacement by commodities and value in an inflationary, rising rates environment. So yeah I am also dip buying though trying to keep it more like 5-10 stocks as commodities producers tend to have just a bit of volatility...
