This whole decentralization meme needs to die. You can only decentralize so much before it becomes useless and hinders the network. I'm sorry but you can't run something of this size on a bunch of raspberry pis. You need massive data centers to handle the bandwidth required. Just like we have ISPs, we'll need dedicated miners to create and process these massive blocks. Everything else sits on higher layers which then interact directly with the miners. This is why IPv6 and SPV will be so important when it comes to scaling.
