My entire life I’ve always been the hardest worker who takes the least days off and never complains. I hate being a wagie so much. Because when you’re “the guy” for everything everyone just goes to you. Your hard work gets rewarded with more work. People around you get more lazy because they know you’ll pick up their slack. The worst part? You get trapped being held to a higher standard than everyone else. Everyone expects your shit for brains coworkers and subordinates to deliver subpar work. But if you ever make a misstep because you’re running the entire show, it’s a really big deal. I can’t even bring myself to stop working so hard because I don’t have it in me to be a piece of shit.
