There is a whole load of us from 2017 who get it too, but only lurk here for the occasional gems of information.

Looking back it is crazy how quickly people 'got it' on here. The first few chainlink threads can be found around August 17. By December this place was a LINK board already.

I bought my first LINK in January 18 along with a load of other crypto shit (NEO, FUN) but then one day in March it just clicked that Chainlink was the only token actually working hard. The Pivotal trackers and Github were essential for seeing this. Especially through the 'radio silence' period.

it's not about proof, it's about belief
you don't deserve to get rich of link if you don't believe unconditionally

It's a meme successfully implanted in poor dumbasses who think they are smart. They are so fucking dumb they honestly believed a larper who called himself assblaster.
It's enough to look at the screenshot. Current link shills ate it all up and really thought they are going to get rich.
What actually happened is that they became bagholders. These are the people that shill link.

It's enough to look at the total supply vs circulating to know that the only people getting rich are the founders.

Currently it's in a short lived pump and dump fueled by wash trading and partnership with an open source library.
It's relatively easy because token ownership is centralized to an absurd degree and a minuscule fraction of the supply is traded.

2. But there’s a pretty serious problem here. If you’re paying a private company to translate your data into a smart contract readable format, then what’s the point of even using a smart contract in the first place? The whole point was that we didn’t want to have to trust a middleman in order to make our trade, but now we’re using a trusted middleman and both of us have to believe that the Oracle is doing an honest job. The whole reasoning behind using a smart contract is wasted, because if we’re going to be paying private Oracles to translate data, we might as well just pay a private mediator to oversee the trade and take a fee.

This is where ChainLink comes in. ChainLink creates a decentralised network of oracles so that the entire process of smart contract execution is trustless. Instead of trusting a single private oracle to translate the data honestly, we are now using a trustless network of nodes to move information on and off blockchains. This is massive, but to get an idea of how massive, you need to think bigger than concert tickets.

Big business, and I mean pretty much any big business, will love smart contracts. Billions if not trillions of dollars a year are spent on exchanging value, and huge money is paid so that the value is exchanged properly and accountably and fairly. Smart contracts automate the process of value exchange and therefore offer billions and billions and billions in savings to companies that use them. But companies aren’t diving all over them yet because of the problem listed above. If a number of entities want to perform large exchanges of value, but are all using their own private oracles, then the trustless exchange is not achieved and the smart contract is pointless. ChainLink, and ChainLink alone, offers up the possibility of bringing end-to-end trustless smart contracts to the world, and this is a revolution so profound that at this point it is almost impossible to see the future extent of it.

One of the biggest criticisms of Chainlink has been that the team rarely makes announcements and that the extent to which they are partnered with large enterprises like SWIFT and Microsoft hasn't been properly explained. From a surface level view it would appear that Chainlink is not partnered with these enterprises as the team has not stated explicitly that this is the case. However, when you dig deeper into the nature of their relationships with these enterprises it becomes evident that there is much more going on behind the scenes than is being disclosed.

SWIFT has already confirmed that they will be implementing smart contracts to make their bond payments and Microsoft Bletchley cryptlets are clearly designed to work within Chainlink's network. Chainlink has confirmed that they have worked with both of these parties on these endeavors.

He did.

If you haven't noticed yet this man has not been wrong about any of his claims. He is a real insider and trends follow his tips to a T.

The absolute state of biz right now is intentional fudding and fomo plus newfags. Do you really think I am panic selling anything? Really? After holding for months?

>selling a peoject in development for 10 years
>selling the rumor before it is a rumor
>selling insider information
>selling the first true utility dapp that institutions and banks will not only use, but actually will NEED

Have fun guys. I will come back EOY to show you the houses I am looking at.
