If the central banks can't pay off their rising debt, they will simply revalue their fiat currency against gold. This allows them to create enormous liquidity and avoid default. If you're wondering why they won't do it now, it's because the people will find out that gold is real money. This will create a craze of people swapping out their fiat money for gold as fast as possible, bringing it back into circulation which the banks do not want because it decentralizes money taking their parasitic power away.

American banks have got 5 trillion dollars float that can be used for reverse repo and will be fine for the next 3 years. The problem with SVB is that it created a national panic and without the Fed bail out there would have been more bank runs to the point all of them could have collapsed today. Even now it is still in the public's mind that a complete collapse can happen, the whole financial system really is on a knife's edge. I personally see this bail out more of an opportunity to get more cheapies when the price starts to settle, but the banking sector is going to implode soon as this can't keep on doing this forever, that 5 trillion dollar float still has a bottom, which will then result in the revaluation of gold.

Yes because the central bank is going to print more dollars, which will debase your savings. If you want to maintain the value of your wealth, move it out of fiat and into a commodity that's good at storing value.
