This. Nu-/biz/ needs to keep one thing in mind: MARKETS ARE IRRATIONAL. I've seen this plenty of times in forex where they report good/bad news about a currency's fundamentals and yet still go up even with all the bad news or go down even with all the good news. And this isn't the "sell the news" meme either, the trend actually goes on for MONTHS before another trend reversal takes place. Remember kids, always look at long term charts (weekly/monthly) instead of looking at the short term and indulging in immediate gratification. Yes, it's boring. You're only going to log in once a day/week to see where the prices are going without spending 8 hours in front of a computer screen but that's where the predictability of the trend is.
