Hey /biz/ 18 y/o britbong here. I've got £1000 in a savings account and i'm looking for a reliable way to invest it. Not looking for massive/unrealistic returns on my investments, just a way to make my money generate a little more money.
Was considering buying some gilts (UK government issued bonds) as they're fairly low risk and I can calculate my expected returns with ease, but am curious to see if /biz/ can generate some better ideas.
