bitcoin is still mainly retail such as silver. silver bottomed at btc peak. they are not correlated. gold and bitcoin used to have negative correlation. gold is institutional + retail. silver follows but gold does not follow silver

No you cant really manipulate anything to go down. So control would mean 100-200k handle, which is good for retail hodlers-

as the market cap rises btc comes more available for hedge funds. now that btc has passed 100b it's becoming more lucrative as a hedge for bond, real estate and equite markets. silver and gold are losing ground as a major hedge. still, 100b will not put you even top 20 in dow jones, so potentially btc market cap could even triple in quite short period of times if more institution starts to use it as a major hedge.
