It amazes me that simpletons hate billionaires so easily. Billionaires are usually billionaires because they own stock in their companies that are worth many billions.
Which means they had to have built something that our inflated economy investors evaluated to be worth that much in order for them to be billionaires. They are only taxed on capital gains usually if they are selling their shares for the income. You can't force them to sell all their shares and to tax them for 70% of the net-worth every year, yet reddit, for some reason is under the presumption that every year the billionaires are making billions of dollars and have a gold coin vault like Scrooge McDuck that they can swan dive into.

Keep in mind for the last quoted text that Onconova has been working with rigosertib for a while and non of the results that I've looked up showed anything to be proud of. In fact in their Phase II report there was no mention of the p-value and they didn't have to in order to show all by themselves that their product was not making any headway.
Even with news on rigosertib rights, they do not have anything ready to deliver within the next year that would get approved. They will run out of money likely without more fundraising.
