Bitcoin is uncharted territory and its a direct challenger to the current dominating economy.
If anything, its underhyped at the moment considering its direct competitor moves orders of magnitude more liquidity.
Also, crypto exchange rates are directly correlated to the news surrounding it. DPR got fucked and everyone was afraid the FBI was going to dump his coins -- The price plummeted. MTGOX happened - The price plummeted. In a few years time people will be cashing out of fiat and into bitcoin, instead of the other way around.

Can any euros recommend a forex trading platform with little (no) minimums and very low fees i.e. something comparable to E-Toro but better (tighter spreads, nicer platform)?

I've been playing with fx for the last half year and now some friends and I are having a small competition – basically who can get from $50 to an Xbox One by the end of December via fx trading.
