I personally think this time around we may have a huge decoupling of the equity (and maybe real estate) markets from actual economy. Powel today basically said he would rob labor of a fat inflation increase, even though corporate already got it. Basically, Powel will work to keep wages down "to keep inflation down", so it wouldn't shock me if we see the real economy suffer for the next 8months to 2 years, but the stock market could continue to climb....why?....cheaper labor is bullish for corporate profits. Also, everyone knows we will again be at ATH at some point within the next few years, or at least less than 10, so those with the liberty of excess cash must decide what to do with it.
