freeze dried veggies https://itsdelish.com/products/vegetable-soup-mix?variant=16757196587098

quality deenz http://www.sunhingfoods.com/bybrand.php?flwrsardinemoroc4-38oz

Parboiled rice, cheap everywhere. Has the benefits of brown rice with the shelf life of white rice. Brown lentils have a decent shelf life and are very nutricious and cook quickly. Fuck getting beans that take a long time to cook (lots of fuel required). Lentils over parboiled rice takes 30 minutes. Boil the dry veggies (cannot find 5 lbs for $30 anywhere) for 30 minutes prior to get them soft then add the lentils. Got yourself a nice lentil stew there. The sardines above are of a very good quality for $1.60 per can, product and shipping. Deenz over hot rice. Contact the company they'll ship direct. Must by minimum 50 cans. If you want to eat cat food fish by all means get chicken of the sea for 99 cents per. For about $400 you can have 6 months of food. This is just to make sure you're not the one running to the grocer when SHTF. You can just lay back and watch the phoenix rise from the ashes. Also buy a huge bag of salt. SPAM is really cheap as well. Like I said, not prepping for the end of the world. Just making sure you don't have to fight off Jamal for the last Onions box of cereal with 4% enriched onions milk and bug flour.
