Between that and Firefox going to shit I think it will only accelerate Brave's popularity. I think the average persons interest is there too to not be tracked by every company that has ever existed. I have a referral link on my site to download the browser and I've actually gotten 5 downloads so far this month. Maybe I'm out of touch but when's the last time people actually click on banner ads to download programs? Just goes to show that Brave's initial impression is strong enough to make people entertain switching browsers. I came up with this old copypasta that went something like this:
