Yeah man same here, not so much nowadays but it's a lifelong learning process that we'll never truly master. I've kept all the fakes I got scammed on as stern reminders to do better and as objects to study so I don't fall for it again. Many of the times I succumbed to fakes was when I was drinking hard every day and too intoxicated to be prowling for"deals", but I've been avoiding the sauce pretty well lately and have learned to stay away from eBay when I do find myself deep in a bottle. Picrel are all fakes, I bought the big spear for $20 knowing it was a repro and I knew the rusty iron one was fake but it was in a collection with some good real stuff, the rest tricked me though but I won't fall for shit like them again, although painful it's a great way to learn.
