This just makes me want to stay away from it, honestly.

>boomers on CNBC with 1-2% gains year over year complaining about "muh fundamentals"
This is fucking hilarious. So it's "respecting the market" when you short sell a company into oblivion but if retail investors want to do the reverse of that and take advantage of an overly shorted company that isn't doing that horribly, it's manipulation?

I got the equivalent of 400k dollars on a savings account. In my country saving accounts have return of 0.60-65% a month, so a guaranteed 7% a year can be expected.

After the ROI exceeds $16500 a year, the government starts to take 22.5% of the ROI in taxes (that depends on how much time you have the account (2 years = 15%)).

Is there a better investment than this in my case?
