Fuck it. I'm going to invest in Chinkoid semiconductors. That one guy who came by some weeks or months ago was totally right about buying them if you never want to work again.

I thought TSMC would benefit from the US winning them over and paying them to build a factory in the US, so I bought more TSMC, but that was the small brained play.

What is REALLY the outcome of US banning Huawei from doing business with TSMC?

Beijing will POUR MOUR MONEY into their semiconductor development. They already gave SMIC $2.3 BILLION in May, and SMIC has already picked up some of the business TSMC had with Huawei, and they also have an R&D partnership with Huawei and Qualcomm.

SMIC could NEVER compete with TSMC, they're much smaller and behind in technology. But NOW, they don't even HAVE to compete. They're all that's left. Huawei and the CCP will throw all their resources at SMIC to force them to level up faster.

The CARES act was a SUPERB distraction from the government bailing out hedgefunds and lending money to businesses run by congressmen/senators. It was also excellent cover for throwing money at every big business on the verge of collapse. Many wealthy donors will be sure to thank them.
