Apparently this number is bad and means all the institutions pull their money out of other assists causing a big downturn. I don’t know much about the stock market but this seems to be the consensus: the lower interest rates are, the more of their money the big wall st investment firms decide it’s worth the higher risk to put their money in stocks, for a higher return. But when bond interest rates get too high, it becomes too good of a sure thing to not put their money safely, for a little less return, into the bonds. On top of that, when interest rates are higher, it’s more expensive for companies to borrow money, which means they have less money to spend on their businesses, which is bullish for their stock price.

That’s my understanding.
