I was considering RV life. Working on getting the wfh job then I'm free. RVs average 10 mpg on gas, 30 mpg on diesel. I'm gonna buy a small one so even better on mpg. Dont need much space when my yard is many hectares of federal land which is plentiful in the western states. Just move down the road a bit every couple weeks, costs a couple gallons of gas, who cares? Unless your O2 sensor is fucked or you are travelling unreasonably far every day or two, I doubt you pay more in gas/maintenance than rent.
