>If its not in a city you wont have customer base to make it profitable
>even with your best efforts you have 20% chance of closing by the end of your first year 50% by year 5, 70% year 10
>doing business with friends and family is cancer unless you have already made it and can stand losing money because your friend/family member is retarded/degenerate and you are too close to see it

best of luck anon

Cope what? I've made it already, I get money from my customers, I get money from my tenants, I get money from my paper investments, I even get money from the government. I'm just hear to talk facts to anyone that wants to hear it.The journey to financial independence always seems impossible to those who never dare take any steps to get there.

Easiest way is to have a job and buy an affordable duplex/triplex/fourplex as your first house. If you buy right your tenant/s will pay for your whole mortgage while you live for free, and you get to find out if you really want to be a landlord. The nicer the area, the easier your tenants will be to deal with generally.
