My father has a lot of properties, and accounts for those properties. Not too long along I was written in all of his bank accounts, and sort of as someone with same “jurisdiction/ownership” to his property. I’m not super in the know of the specifics but I can find out more information if need be.

in my fathers will, he wants properties to be sold, and certain money to go to his other kids even though I’m the only one listed in his things.
But now, my question is this: If I’m listed as someone who has the same rights of the property as he does, am I still obligated to sell the property once he passes away, if in his will he states that is what he wants? Or is this dependent on the legal garble and the specifics of how I’m written in the property? Again, I can find the specifics if need be.
I ask this because some of the kids are people who haven’t talked to him since the day they moved out, (He’s a huge asshole and I only put up with it for the inheritance. If you think I’m scummy because of it... well that’s besides the point!) but he still wants to give them some sort of sum. But I personally don’t think they deserve a single cent.

So maybe legally, because I also “own” the property...I’m not obligated to sell and turn in whatever profit would be made from it?
