Man speaking as someone whos lived in LA his whole life, there are much nicer parts of california. Most rich people here dont even live in LA unless they have to, and then they keep second homes in nice areas outside of LA for vacationing. whats the point? even if you have a nice house man, as soon as you go outside your city for more than 5 miles its fucking garbage urban sprawl everywhere, legit looks like mexico city. and btw unless you shell out 2 million plus for an older/unique home theres a strong chance youre just going to get a McMansion. they are all over OC/irvine fuckign ugly cardboard cookie cutter houses that people play 1 million plus for. dont just buy anywhere in LA, seriously make sure its worth your money, because housing is totally and famously overvalued here
