If there's some group that vastly overestimates how much people agrees with them it's the lefties, as was proven in the 2016 election. Sure Trump won due to the broken voting system but everybody was taken by great surprise how many preferred Trump to the alternative. The left has learned nothing and there will once again be no preferable alternative in 2020. It's even worse now, people with even the slightest disagreement with the far left and you get called far right. The alienating of non-extreme lefties is a huge problem, meanwhile the right is welcoming and actually want a discussion. The center is disappearing.

We'll see. I'm sure the campaign managers aren't idiots on the left so they might straighten out. But so far it looks like Trump will win big. Starting with dropping the whole Trump-is-in-bed-with-the-Russians thing would be a good idea.
