I have $40k sitting in a savings account with a shithouse rate

I already have an emergency fund, I have no debt.

My 401k only allows paycheck contributions and the yearly limit on an IRA means I'll be putting that shit into it for almost a decade, nevermind the fact that my income allows me to max out both accounts without even touching that money.

What the hell do I do with it? I need to at the very minimum beat inflation, which the only thing I can think of is some shitty 5 year CD with all the interest getting taxed into oblivion.
