Ah yes, the endless wars are 1776 style freedom and libertarianism, how did I not see it earlier? Stop kidding yourself, the left/right is a sham that the political elite pull you into so you pay no attention to their rampant authoritarianism. Why do you think both parties agree on anything that gives them more power? Why did both unite to shit on Ron Paul, Justin Amash or anyone who displays even a vaguely libertarian tendency? Because they don't really care about left and right, they care about their back pocket, and if people start questioning whether we actually need government banning people from having haircuts and needing a license to build a 10 square foot deck in their yard, then they start losing their power, and with that goes all the delicious lobbying money.
