theyre not buying it at a premium. go look at the top wallets, theyre accumulating heavily. most likely institutions already have a ton. the price action on nov 20-nov 23, coincided with the migration from legacy systems to ISO20022. pic related. so banks already bought a ton for cheap, and the next pump will probably be to $1 to a few dollars, and that will be the final accumulation phase most likely.
so, we now reach a scenario where retail only holds 17.5% of the supply of xrp, which most likely this will go down even more by the next pump, and banks + ripple hold the entirety of the rest. hopefully, all this time, ripple is continuously adding banks to the odl network. at some point they reach critical mass, all adopt ODL en masse (maybe not instantaneously, but over a few days). the volume flowing through the ledger will then pump the price. at this point hopefully there will be too much money flowing around for them to care that 5% of the supply will get dumped on them slowly. some people may not even dump, we might be able to use flare for yield farming in which case ill hold
