Dude, they have limitless resources to throw at the project. It’ll be shitty and take forever but it’ll be a custom job

Germany is the lynchpin to the Eurozone. Almost every other country in the EU is an economic clusterfuck by comparison. What happens if people lose faith in the Germans?

tfw EU has 60% import tariffs on beef. High quality stuff is incredibly expensive here.
I've never had wagyu, USDA prime is my upper limit. But I still eat rib eyes at least once per month.
At least I eat Iberico pork almost daily.

Not sure what knowledge path is seeing the most demand in Romania. Go to a jobs site and figure this part out for yourself. Mine is .net so pluralsight.com is the best source for information - I personally pay for my subscription but most of the stuff can be found on rutracker.
Don't go the java route unless a "stable boring job" is of any interest.
Learn some modern js, honestly, I learned while working, you'll need a book for that, just check out what's more popular on amazon, read, write code, it's not complicated.
If you want a more streamlined process you might wanna give softuni a try. It's a Bulgarian startup specializing in education for codemonkey (learning by practice) and they seem to have the best automated grading platform out there (they give you a task, you write the code, upload it to their servers and it automatically runs some tests to check if your code is working fine). I know they recently expanded to Romania and the first few months are free so check it out.
Once you know how to code, here's my 2 cents:
You have two paths to victory.
1. Move abroad, keep your Romanian work ethic and don't give in to westerncuck laziness. Impress, go higher up in hierarchy quick, expand network and make use of the low taxation at home when they decide they want to expand the business.
2. My way - stay in your home country, study business (not officially use the internet) while working. Be good at your job and also start some side hustles. By the time you're senior-level you'll be glad you stayed, again thanks to the low taxation.
